This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +12 more states.
• Engage in face-to-face sales activities across the designated West territory, which includes meetings with advisors/producers, training seminars, agent conferences, back-office training sessions, appointments, and various field engagements.
• Establish and nurture relationships with advisors through proactive communication and visits.
• Discover new advisor partnerships and business possibilities, providing support via targeted sales campaigns, calls, follow-ups, and virtual meetings.
• Formulate and implement a territory sales strategy in collaboration with sales leadership and distribution partners.
• Prioritize advisor prospects, travel, requests for competitive activities, and sales initiatives to optimize annuity sales.
• Utilize company reporting tools, Salesforce, and other data sources to identify opportunities, assess territory trends, guide sales efforts, and document interactions and follow-ups.
• Oversee travel, entertainment, sponsorships, and other resources within the territory.
• Complete precise expense reports and pinpoint efficiency and return-on-investment opportunities.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of F&G products, programs, practices, resources, and the competitive environment.
• Collaborate with National Sales, National Accounts, Senior Internal Wholesalers, and additional internal partners.
• Share product, competitive, relationship, and territory insights with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement territory priorities and achieve established sales goals.
• Engage in team discussions, exchange best practices, and support the larger sales organization.
• Perform other responsibilities, tasks, and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree; preferably in Business or Marketing, or equivalent industry experience.
• Industry-recognized certifications preferred, such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP.
• Over 3 years of wholesaling experience preferred.
• Proven success in sales and/or marketing roles.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a home office setting.
• Proficiency in or willingness to learn Salesforce, illustration software, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up capabilities.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and/or securities.
• Ability to cultivate effective working relationships within the organization.
• Strong computer skills.
• Regular and timely attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
