Regional Clinical Sales Specialist – Trauma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote the sales of orthopedic surgical products by delivering clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms.

• Provide independent guidance and technical support to surgeons during orthopedic surgical procedures.

• Act as the sole representative of the Company, offering direct customer support during surgeries while ensuring the availability and functionality of equipment.

• Employ troubleshooting skills and independent judgment to address physician needs and customer inquiries.

• Manage hospital billing processes and facilitate the creation and closure of purchase orders.

• Convey insights regarding customers, procedures, and the marketplace to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

• Generate necessary sales reports and documentation.

• Offer consultation for the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.

• Monitor, track, and efficiently deploy equipment and assets across the designated area.

• Ensure that promotional materials are kept in a presentable state.

• Guarantee that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to quality standards.

• Facilitate the movement of instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree, or an Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, or at least 4 years of professional experience, or a recent transition from Active Military Duty.

• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required, including frequent overnight and/or weekend travel.

• Reside in or be willing to relocate to an assigned geographic region as determined by the Company.

• Capability to work in a laboratory or operating room setting.

• Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Strong skills in interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving are necessary.

• Experience in data analysis along with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Focus on results and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Capacity to work independently and autonomously.

• Ability to navigate a complex organizational and team structure.

• High level of precision and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and function in intricate environments.

• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.

• Basic understanding of surgical procedures.

• Preferred strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
