This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and lead a team of Neurology Account Specialists.
• Launch approved products and develop as well as execute regional strategies.
• Cultivate personnel, manage performance, and drive results for approved products.
• Analyze sales data to pinpoint business growth opportunities or areas needing attention.
• Oversee sales, pre-launch activities, strategic business planning, and implementation of approved products for the designated region.
• Assemble and guide a team in acquiring, expanding, and retaining targeted business.
• Enhance national strategy and propel regional business outcomes by leveraging knowledge of institutions, market access, and key customers.
• Engage in the formulation of National/Regional sales strategies and implement them within the geographical area.
• Establish and manage regional expense budgets while ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Select and recruit Neurology Account Specialists, providing coaching, feedback, and motivation.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, corporate governance, applicable regulations, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Communicate the vision, business objectives, performance outcomes, and action steps.
• Identify opportunities for organizational efficiency and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with CADs, DPAs, MPAs, HUB, and other personnel to formulate strategies and foster relationships.
• Develop and sustain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, and key center personnel.
• Anticipate business challenges and proactively address them.
• Maintain proficiency in selling skills, clinical knowledge, market insights, and product information.
• Represent the company, products, and personnel with integrity and respect.
• Complete tasks and projects as assigned by the Sr. Director, National Sales.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director, National Sales.
• Collaborate effectively with field-based and internal colleagues, including Sales, Sales Operations, Medical, Compliance, and Human Resources.
• Interact with KOLs, physicians, healthcare providers, administrators, and HUB personnel.
• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Minimum of 5 years in sales management.
• Preferred experience in Neurology, Rare Disease, CNS, Orphan Drugs, new product launches, as well as hiring, selection, and development of sales teams.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and applicable regulations/guidelines regarding pharmaceutical sales.
• Familiarity with Buy and Bill processes, along with hospital and institutional knowledge, is highly preferred.
• Strong business acumen, a bottom-line orientation, entrepreneurial spirit, and resourcefulness.
• Leadership and motivational skills, with a proven ability to observe, assess, and develop sales staff.
• Exceptional oral/written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must be willing to travel up to 50+%, including frequent overnight stays.
