Regional Activity Specialist – Transitions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist the Transitions Team throughout the portfolio.

• Aid in the standard operations of the Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments.

• Oversee activities and other resident programs in the absence of an Activity Director.

• Manage Oakmont OWL Production and handle Facebook Management.

• Oversee financials, staffing, hiring, and the community transportation program.

• Collaborate directly with community Executive Directors to uphold programming operations standards, policies, and procedures.

• Engage in the development of Oakmont Programming standards and policies.

• Assist with projects aimed at creating Activity program systems for Assisted Living and Traditions.

• Perform audits of the Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments.

• Plan, schedule, budget, promote, facilitate, and direct activities and excursions to improve residents' independence and quality of life.

• Travel frequently, which may include 100% travel and assignments across multiple states.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

• Preferably have a minimum of 2 or more years of experience as an Activity Director or equivalent, and/or at least 3 or more years as an Activity Assistant or equivalent.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class B License with Passenger Endorsement for 20 or more passengers.

• Must have or be willing to acquire RCFE Activity Director Certification.

• Flexibility in work schedule is necessary, including availability on holidays, evenings, weekends, and for additional shifts when required.

• Ability to operate a personal computer and proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.) is essential.

• Must successfully pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.

• May be required to get vaccinated, participate in daily screening and surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other PPE in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
