Referrals Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the processing of referrals and authorizations.

• Act as a resource for the team.

• Monitor and coordinate activities related to referrals and authorizations.

• Prioritize the caseload among associates to maximize resource utilization.

• Implement contingency plans to meet performance benchmarks.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to referrals and authorizations.

• Facilitate training requirements for non-clinical associates.

• Mentor associates and complete performance management plans.

• Foster associate development for potential growth opportunities.

• Report directly to a Manager of Referrals.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must successfully obtain interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services).

• Current residence outside of Puerto Rico is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory, management, or Team Lead experience is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in referral and authorization management.

• Previous or current experience with TRICARE is preferred.

• Home internet speed must be at least 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Ability to work from a dedicated space without distractions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Must be able to commit to a 40-hour work week.
