Red Team Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct targeted Red Team operations that imitate known threat actors.

• Aid clients in assessing the impact and probability of threat actors achieving their goals throughout the Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.

• Collaborate with senior leadership.

• Strategize and carry out security evaluations.

• Support other CrowdStrike Services divisions to enhance customers’ security defenses.

• Execute penetration tests on operating systems, applications, databases, and network infrastructure components.

• Generate written and verbal reports, presentations, security-focused recommendations, and factual findings for customer management.

• Interact with executive leadership and technical support teams within CrowdStrike.

• Lead or assist in the development and enhancement of information security programs and resources.

• Offer specialized guidance and toolset support to operational teams during enterprise-wide crises, including significant production service outages beyond routine change management.

• Function as a technical operator across various penetration testing services with an OPSEC mindset.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Team/Penetration Testing activities is strongly preferred.

• Active participation in the security community (such as being a conference speaker or tool development contributor) is highly desirable.

• Advanced proficiency with security assessment tools (e.g., Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Burp Suite, etc.).

• In-depth understanding of security methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac operating systems.

• Advanced knowledge of networking components (including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points).

• Comprehensive understanding of firewalls, proxies, mail servers, and web servers.

• Significant experience in operational support for operating systems, applications, and networks.

• Extensive experience in Red Teaming, covering vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and adversary emulation assessments.

• Advanced skills in automation and scripting for applications and systems.

• Proven track record in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.

• Preferred certifications: OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, GXPN.

• Occasional travel may be necessary (less than 25%).

• The candidate may need to undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug tests periodically during employment.

• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility criteria; CrowdStrike participates in E-Verify.
