Recovery Access Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to all incoming calls promptly and in a friendly, energetic manner.

• Exhibit knowledge of the organizational framework and eligibility criteria for prospective and current members.

• Provide knowledgeable responses to clinical inquiries and identify the needs of callers.

• Ensure all requests are addressed and completed effectively.

• Initiate client Biopsychosocial Assessments utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to assess program eligibility.

• Schedule initial intake appointments within the EMR system.

• Coordinate a smooth client intake process and manage client no-shows alongside clinic coordinators.

• Create a positive experience and foster therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned based on business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• An associate's degree is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in human services, healthcare, or a customer service role is required.

• Must have access to reliable internet and telephone services, with minimum download speeds of 10M and upload speeds of 5M.

• Strong WiFi signal is required from the remote work location.

• Must fulfill pre-employment criteria and adhere to state and job-specific background screening standards.

• Depending on state regulations, fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid certification, and license/credential verifications may be necessary.

• Possess friendly, clear, and effective communication skills over the phone.

• Exhibit critical thinking and sound judgment skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong telecommunication skills and comfort with various IT systems, applications, and tools.

• Customer service orientation is essential.

• Ability to work independently with general supervision.

• Must understand and comply with the Code of Conduct.
