This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with the management and transition activities for Army Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health records within ODASA(ESOH).
• Transfer official ESOH records to the ASA(IEE) SharePoint Online portal and other authorized repositories.
• Identify and categorize official records as opposed to non-record materials.
• Implement Army records schedules along with naming and metadata conventions.
• Monitor records-management requirements, timelines, and deliverables for the Integration Branch.
• Aid in the closure and migration of shared drives, including conducting inventories, folder mapping, and performing post-transfer quality checks.
• Create internal procedures, job aids, and instructional materials for records tools and uploads.
• Act as an alternate to the ESOH Records Management Coordinator, managing routine coordination and status reporting.
• Collaborate with action officers regarding filing requirements.
• Manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive information in accordance with Army and DoD regulations.
• Prepare status reports and briefings for various stakeholders.
• Evaluate work products to ensure completeness and adherence to Army quality standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in records/information management, library/information science, business, public administration, history, communications, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of expertise in records management, information management, document control, or extensive file migration within a federal, DoD, or similarly regulated setting.
• Proven experience in distinguishing official records from non-record materials and organizing files for retention and retrieval.
• Practical knowledge of SharePoint Online, encompassing document libraries, metadata, permissions, and content migration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to draft clear procedures and educate non-specialists.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Desired: Direct experience in Army or DoD records management, including familiarity with AR 25-400-2, ARIMS, or the Army Records Retention Schedule.
• Desired: Background as a Records Management Coordinator, Records Liaison, or alternate RMC.
• Desired: Experience in migrating shared drives or file shares into SharePoint Online or another records repository.
• Desired: Understanding of CUI marking, PII handling, and access control within collaborative sites.
• Desired: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Approvals, Power BI, Visio, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
