This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design System Development: Play an active role in creating, maintaining, and governing the corporate Design System by developing reusable, scalable, and accessible components to harmonize the engineering and design experience across teams.

• Technical Guidance and Standards: Take a proactive approach in developing new applications, techniques, and coding standards, while encouraging the creation of guidelines and best practices.

• Innovative Problem Solving: Generate inventive solutions for challenges that demand innovation, ensuring that deliverables align with the strategic objectives of the area.

• Quality Improvement Culture: Enhance the quality of code reviews, adhere to established standards, and seek external benchmarks for ongoing improvement.

• Operational Excellence (Incident Management): Support the resolution of critical incidents, offer technical assistance to fellow developers, lead monitoring initiatives, and promote a culture of post-mortems.

• Project and Value Oversight: Evaluate epics and projects to ensure that incremental value is being delivered.

• Institutional Liaison: Serve as the technical point of contact for projects and contracts, engaging with external partners and coordinating requests between organizations as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong Foundations: Expertise in semantic HTML5 and native CSS3.

• Experience with Design Systems: Proven experience in developing and maintaining scalable component libraries and Design System architecture.

• Proficiency in Design Patterns and Clean Architecture: Deep understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices to ensure a codebase that is readable, testable, and maintainable.

• Knowledge of Mobile Ecosystem: Experience with React Native; familiarity with Flutter and Dart is an advantage.

• Expertise in Web Ecosystem: Advanced proficiency with TypeScript and ReactJS.

• Testing Proficiency: Experience in writing unit tests for components (using Jest, Vitest, or similar tools).

• Implementation of Design Tokens and Theming: Strategic application of token architecture (Design Tokens) integrated with design tools (such as Figma).

• Architectural Knowledge: Understanding of how to build components that are independent of business rules.

• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.

• Accessibility Awareness: Knowledge of and ability to implement WCAG AA guidelines.
