RCM Implementation Consultant – EHR, SaaS, Healthcare IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage, coordinate, and oversee all facets of implementation for both new and existing clients.

• Set up the Raintree application utilizing best practices with a focus on revenue cycle, billing, and clinical workflows.

• Evaluate client billing operations, fee structures, payer configurations, and charge capture workflows to enhance clean claim rates and minimize days in accounts receivable.

• Lead the configuration, setup, and testing of electronic claim submissions, electronic remittance advice, real-time eligibility verification, and integrations with clearinghouses.

• Collaborate with clearinghouse representatives and payer enrollment teams on EDI, EFT, and ERA connections.

• Oversee the comprehensive testing of clinical-to-billing transitions, from scheduling and co-pay collection to claim generation and submission.

• Educate client billing teams, billers, and revenue cycle managers on claim scrubbing, denial management, patient statement processing, and financial reporting.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients during the implementation process.

• Proactively manage client escalations with independence.

• Assist in reviewing client workflows and developing effective plans.

• Provide weekly progress updates to clients or as agreed upon.

• Ensure timely achievement of implementation milestones.

• Coordinate data conversion, interface, and EDI/clearinghouse timelines and expectations.

• Adhere to project plans and manage scope and timelines, escalating issues to project managers as necessary.

• Successfully transition implemented clients to Client Support.

• Aid the sales team with the handoff of new clients.

• Ensure overall client satisfaction throughout the process.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in at least two of the following areas: Revenue Cycle Management / Medical Billing Software, Implementations, Product/Project Management, or Training.

• Direct experience with medical billing workflows and RCM operations, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable management.

• Strong understanding of clearinghouse operations, electronic claim formats, ERAs, eligibility, and claim scrubbers.

• Familiarity with therapy-specific billing requirements (PT/OT/ST), including Medicare Part B regulations, modifiers, cap limits, and authorization tracking is highly advantageous.

• Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience in web-based training or classroom training/coaching is a plus.

• Proficiency in medical computerized billing, EMR/EHR systems, and scheduling software is required.

• Work history in a medical office, billing office, customer service, IT, or support desk environment is beneficial.

• Strong proficiency with MS Windows, MS Office, or Google Workspace.

• Ability to guide clients through intricate financial and technical processes.

• Capability to manage and meet client expectations effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities with a focus on customer service.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently and handle changing priorities with professionalism.

• Proven track record of thorough, courteous, and responsive customer service.

• Ability to interact professionally and courteously with various business contacts.

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to organize tasks for maximum efficiency.
