Raw Material Buyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze MRP recommendations and purchasing exceptions on a daily basis.

• Transform approved MRP requirements into purchase orders with authorized suppliers.

• Verify order quantities, pricing, lead times, and requested delivery dates prior to placing purchase orders.

• Modify purchase order quantities and dates when requirements shift and approvals are obtained.

• Ensure accurate purchasing, source-list, and planning information in the ERP system.

• Detect shortages, excess inventory risks, and urgent material needs.

• Establish priorities for the Purchasing Coordinator and guide them on orders that need follow-up.

• Convey material risks and purchasing requirements to Planning, Manufacturing, and the Purchasing Manager.

• Assist in achieving inventory objectives and complete related purchasing tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a comparable relevant experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain is preferred.

• Proficiency in using MRP and ERP systems is essential.

• Strong skills in Excel, analytical thinking, organization, and communication are mandatory.

• Experience in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing is preferred.

• Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
