This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Facilitate appropriate patient access to treatments within the territory by effectively showcasing Pendopharm’s Rare Diseases portfolio and cultivating trusted partnerships with stakeholders throughout the healthcare ecosystem.
• Meet and surpass business targets by tracking performance, gaining insight into the territory, and implementing strategic action plans.
• Leverage product expertise, scientific information, and sales techniques to engage healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
• Build, nurture, and sustain strong, enduring relationships with healthcare professionals and other vital stakeholders.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities by utilizing available data to guide decision-making and the territory business strategy.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of territory dynamics, patient care pathways, and the requirements of healthcare professionals and patients.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, the Patient Support Program (PSP), and other cross-functional teams.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of new product introductions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory obligations, and relevant ethical standards.
• A minimum of five (5) years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably within a specialty products context.
• Proven experience working with specialist physicians and managing a complex territory.
• Background in rare diseases, oncology, and/or endocrinology is highly advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with endocrinologists and/or immunologists is beneficial.
• Familiarity with a pharmaceutical product launch is a plus.
• A strong record of meeting or exceeding sales and business targets.
• A solid customer focus and patient-centered approach.
• Exceptional ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient at working effectively in a scientific, complex, and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and account management skills.
• Strong business acumen along with the capacity to develop and implement a territory business plan.
• Ability to analyze territory data to unearth growth opportunities and set priorities.
• Comfortable interpreting, understanding, and communicating scientific and clinical data.
• Good understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape, Health Canada regulations, the Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) Code, and relevant ethical guidelines.
• Proficient with digital tools and capable of utilizing data to inform decision-making.
• Bilingual proficiency is required: excellent written and spoken skills in both French and English.
• A university degree in science, business, or a related field is necessary.
