Quantum Computing Patent Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Prepare and file U.S. and international patent applications.

• Collaborate closely with inventors and engineers to grasp intricate technologies and formulate robust patent claims.

• Draft responses to Office Actions and oversee applications throughout the prosecution process.

• Support clients in shaping patent strategies and developing their portfolios.

• Cultivate and enhance client relationships.

• Engage in patents related to quantum computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductors, computer architecture, AI, software, cloud technologies, networking, and communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of substantial experience in patent preparation and prosecution.

• Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in quantum computing.

• Strongly preferred experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductors, or advanced software patents.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

• USPTO registration is mandatory.

• Excellent skills in patent drafting, technical writing, and client communication.

• Some portable patent prosecution business is preferred.
