Quantitative Analyst, FX & CFDs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Create quantitative models for pricing, execution, and risk management.

• Analyze financial market data, including tick data, order books, trade executions, and historical data.

• Research and devise systematic trading strategies utilizing statistical and machine learning techniques.

• Construct and maintain back-testing frameworks to assess trading strategies.

• Monitor slippage, spreads, latency, liquidity, and execution quality.

• Develop risk models that encompass exposure, VaR, drawdown, and stress testing.

• Create automated analytical tools and dashboards using Python and SQL.

• Optimize data pipelines and ensure data quality for quantitative research.

• Collaborate closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to enhance trading systems.

• Prepare research reports and present quantitative insights to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in financial markets, especially in FX, CFDs, Equities, or Futures.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis, and quantitative modeling.

• Experience with financial market data, trading strategies, or back-testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with machine learning or quantitative research is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.

• Capable of effectively collaborating with trading, technology, and infrastructure teams.
