This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Collect and evaluate technical and functional requirements within a healthcare setting.
• Perform multi-tier data analysis by connecting information from various healthcare data sources.
• Assess healthcare workflows and the interactions between clinical and enterprise systems.
• Facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions, workshops, and activities for requirements gathering.
• Create project artifacts, documentation, reports, and technical recommendations.
• Conduct source-to-target mapping of healthcare data elements into enterprise data models.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, process flows, integration documentation, and implementation materials.
• Implement FHIR standards, HL7 v2/v3 messaging protocols, clinical data exchanges, and terminology standards.
• Aid in healthcare data exchange and interoperability integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Functional Business Analysts, Clinical Informatics Specialists, Enterprise Architects, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Assist QA teams with testing scenarios and validation strategies.
• Generate documentation for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Support change management, training resources, and user materials.
• Help Enterprise Architects with technical solution alternatives, briefing notes, and suggestions.
• Manage requirements scope through change-control procedures.
• Conduct research and environmental assessments.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business and clinical stakeholders.
• 7–10 years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability or large-scale integration projects.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare systems, workflows, and clinical data exchanges.
• Proven experience in analyzing interactions across multiple healthcare systems.
• In-depth knowledge of FHIR standards.
• Practical experience in creating source-to-target mappings using HL7 messaging protocols, FHIR resources, and healthcare data models.
• Background in healthcare data analysis, workflow evaluation, data mapping, requirements documentation, and clinical technology solutions.
• Strong experience in engaging with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, and collaborative meetings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation and detail.
• Capacity to translate complex clinical and technical requirements into actionable solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Epic, Oracle Health, AthenaHealth, Veradigm, eCC, and Medent.
• 7–10 years of experience with FHIR, HL7 v2/v3, clinical data exchanges, data mapping, terminology standards, workflow analysis, and healthcare technology implementation.
• Experience developing FHIR profiles, implementation guides, and integration documentation.
• Candidates must be available for meetings during Eastern Time business hours.
