M&A Data, Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and refresh the M&A database in Excel, incorporating data from acquisition targets as well as information on offers and valuations sent to those targets.

• Input new data as transactions advance, adhering to the existing structure and categories of the database; this is a maintenance-focused position, not a rebuilding task.

• Analyze and interpret financial statements provided by targets, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Reclassify and standardize line items from target financials into Collective Residential's established categories.

• Verify entries for precision and uniformity throughout the database.

• Report any anomalies, unclear data, or discrepancies to the M&A team instead of making assumptions.

• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all deal, valuation, and target financial information in accordance with the NDA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient, hands-on Excel abilities (formulas, structured tables, precise data entry; experience with pivot tables is a plus).

• Capability to read and comprehend financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).

• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in repetitive data entry tasks.

• Ability to work independently once trained on the current database structure.

• Trustworthy management of confidential deal and financial information.

• Reliable internet access and personal equipment.

• Previous experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or M&A support (preferred).

• Familiarity with the property management sector (preferred).
