Quality Management Nurse Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, execution, and assessment of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Improve healthcare outcomes while ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities for performance enhancement.

• Evaluate quality and clinical data.

• Oversee compliance activities.

• Apply evidence-based practices.

• Aid in the formulation of policies, procedures, and quality programs that promote safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

• Support organizational objectives, regulatory obligations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Deliver education, consultation, and quality oversight.

• Propel clinical excellence, enhance member outcomes, and elevate healthcare quality performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

• Must be a resident of Arizona.

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.

• Capability to travel throughout the Tucson, Arizona metropolitan area.

• Reliable means of transportation.

• Willingness and ability to travel locally up to 10% of the time.

• Previous experience in managed care is preferred.

• Proficient in computer skills and navigating both internal and external computer systems.

• Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.

• An Associate's degree in nursing is required.
