Quality Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, maintain, and periodically update the Quality Management Plan (QMP).

• Ensure that processes, procedures, and regulatory standards are kept current, compliant, and fully executed.

• Lead a quality team comprising approximately 10–15 members, offering guidance, mentorship, and accountability.

• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, government technical personnel, and clients to define requirements, identify risks, and establish resolutions.

• Provide quality reports, status updates, inspection findings, and briefings for senior management.

• Develop, lead, and enhance QA inspection processes.

• Perform Quality Assessments, test analyses, and data-driven evaluations.

• Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, optimizing schedules, and boosting organizational performance.

• Promote specific safety measures and lead safety-related briefings.

• Facilitate communication between senior management, safety teams, and contractor staff.

• Work in collaboration with 5G/IT program personnel to integrate quality processes into technical environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience with a significant emphasis on Quality Management Plan ownership and quality program execution.

• Proven experience in leading small teams within a quality or operational context.

• Direct experience with QA inspection processes, quality assessments, test analyses, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Active Secret clearance is required.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

• Ability to work in a remote environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

• Experience in supporting IT or 5G-related programs is preferred but not essential if strong quality expertise is evident.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

• Skills: Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Assurance Processes, Quality Management.
