This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Act as the main point of contact and mentor for nursing facilities, hospitals, and outpatient practices.
• Recognize opportunities for enhancing patient care, safety, and overall outcomes.
• Execute improvement initiatives to meet healthcare objectives.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and practices to foster measurable enhancements in patient outcomes.
• Partner with local, state, and national organizations to link providers and patients with pertinent initiatives and learning opportunities.
• Analyze quality data at the regional, state, and provider levels.
• Facilitate collaborative learning environments.
• Offer technical support to nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient practices in the implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Involve partners and providers throughout the healthcare spectrum.
• Ensure compliance with both state and federal healthcare quality standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent experience (10 years in healthcare, an associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare quality improvement is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality improvement principles, practices, and methodologies applicable in healthcare environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to cultivate effective relationships with C-suite executives, clinicians, administrators, and other health professionals.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting healthcare facilities, including CMS quality measures, surveys, and accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in coaching and facilitating improvement initiatives with providers and partners.
• An active Enterprise User Administration (EUA) ID is required, including the establishment of an ICT account and acquisition of the EUA ID.
• If an active EUA ID is not held, completion of necessary training and obtaining the EUA ID is required; failure to do so within the specified timeframe may lead to termination.
• Preferred: experience in nursing homes, long-term care, hospitals, and/or outpatient practice settings.
• Preferred: background in behavioral health.
• Preferred: a master’s degree in public health, quality improvement science, health informatics, or a related field.
• Preferred: licensed RN, LPN, MSW, or CPHQ.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators.
• Preferred: skills in managing project timelines and deadlines, along with producing detailed written reports.
• Preferred: ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and narratives for varied clinical and non-clinical audiences.
