This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and maintain test cases for designated features, ensuring comprehensive coverage of optimal scenarios and key edge cases, while highlighting potential risks.
• Take ownership of testing for assigned small features and bugs, delivering scoped tasks punctually with minimal oversight.
• Create dependable automated end-to-end tests using Playwright as well as API-level tests in accordance with team standards.
• Troubleshoot flaky tests and uphold the stability of the test suite.
• Conduct exploratory testing and generate clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Leverage AI tools to draft test cases, automate processes, and determine selectors, while identifying and rectifying any incorrect or unsafe outputs.
• Implement patient-data protection measures by utilizing synthetic test data, ensuring that no actual patient data is included in test artifacts.
• Deliver succinct code and test reviews, articulate work direction, and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
• Report to the Director of QA and work collaboratively with senior quality and software engineers.
• Advance along the Quality Engineer career path toward Quality Engineer III and beyond.
• Approximately 1–2 years of experience in software quality, testing, or test automation.
• Proficient in programming or scripting in at least one of the following: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Comfortable with writing and maintaining automated tests, preferably using Playwright or similar UI and API testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git, executing a test suite, and performing basic debugging independently.
• Regular usage of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar, along with reviewing their outputs.
• Ability to produce clear bug reports, provide valuable reviews, and engage in discussions about one’s own work.
• Proven track record of completing scoped tasks punctually with minimal supervision.
