Quality Control Specialist, AI/ML, Vietnamese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Review finalized Display Transcription tasks for precision and uniformity.

• Contrast the Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and project specifications.

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numerals, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization protocols.

• Ensure that the original words and meanings are maintained.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related discrepancies.

• Utilize reference audio when necessary to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Consistently apply project-specific quality standards.

• Provide precise feedback and report recurring issues when necessary.

• Complete designated QC tasks within project deadlines and productivity goals.

• Contribute to an AI language initiative aimed at enhancing speech recognition systems.

• Exceptional writing skills in Vietnamese, the target language.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong grasp of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Capability to spot inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Ability to adhere to detailed guidelines and apply them consistently.

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection.

• Capacity to work autonomously and achieve quality and productivity objectives.

• Prior experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the commencement of the project.
