Quality Control Specialist – AI/ML, Sinhala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Evaluate completed Display Transcription tasks for precision and uniformity.

• Match Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and adhere to project specifications.

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numerical values, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization standards.

• Ensure that the original wording and meaning remain intact.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related discrepancies.

• Utilize reference audio to clarify ambiguous situations as necessary.

• Consistently implement project-specific quality standards.

• Provide precise feedback and highlight recurring issues when necessary.

• Complete designated QC tasks within established project deadlines and productivity benchmarks.

• Exceptional written proficiency in the Sinhala language (traditional Sri Lanka).

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Solid understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Capability to identify inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Ability to adhere to detailed guidelines and apply them consistently.

• Basic computer skills along with a reliable internet connection.

• Capacity to work independently and achieve quality and productivity goals.

• Prior experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the commencement of the project.
