This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Enhance patient access operations by implementing quality monitoring and optimizing workflows.
• Oversee and refine provider schedule templates for improved efficiency.
• Utilize Epic scheduling best practices to streamline processes.
• Guarantee scheduling accuracy, adherence to workflows, compliance with regulations, and optimal utilization of providers across FPG medical offices.
• Offer centralized supervision of quality assurance, provider schedule template optimization, and scheduling workflow performance.
• Ensure that provider templates are correctly configured and well-maintained.
• Support operational workflows, maximize appointment availability, and enhance timely access to care.
• Collaborate with leadership, clinic operations, providers, Epic analysts, and FPG centralized scheduling teams.
• Enhance patient experience, access efficiency, and the quality of scheduling outcomes.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance or auditing within a centralized authorization, registration, or call center setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.
• High School Diploma, GED, or a relevant certificate.
• Previous experience in centralized access or multi-specialty scheduling environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with information systems such as scheduling, registration, medical necessity, billing, and other business office applications is preferred.
• Experience with Epic, particularly in Cadence and In-Basket workflows, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Capability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy is preferred.
• Ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships at all organizational levels is preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities and understanding of group dynamics are preferred.
• Proficient problem analysis skills and a commitment to follow through on solutions are preferred.
• Initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise are preferred.
• Successful completion of mandatory onboarding, training, and competency requirements is expected.
• Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.

• Work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
