This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Enhance patient access operations by monitoring quality and optimizing workflows.
• Oversee and refine provider scheduling templates.
• Implement best practices for scheduling within the Epic system.
• Ensure accuracy in scheduling, adherence to workflows, compliance with regulations, and optimal utilization of providers across FPG medical offices.
• Provide centralized oversight for quality assurance, optimization of provider schedule templates, and performance of scheduling workflows.
• Ensure that provider templates are correctly configured and maintained to support operational workflows and maximize appointment availability.
• Collaborate with leadership, clinic operations, providers, Epic analysts, and FPG centralized scheduling teams.
• Enhance patient experience, access efficiency, and quality of scheduling outcomes.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance or auditing within a centralized authorization, registration, or call center setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.
• Successful completion of mandatory onboarding, training, and competency assessments prior to transitioning to remote work.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience in centralized access or multi-specialty scheduling settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling, registration, medical necessity, billing, and other business office information systems is preferred.
• Experience with Epic, including Cadence and In-Basket workflows, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy is preferred.
• Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and an understanding of group dynamics are preferred.
• Ability to analyze issues and consistently follow through to implement solutions is preferred.
• Initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
