This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +13 more states.
• Oversee quality assurance, sponsor support, research, and program development initiatives for the Office of Continuing Education Sponsor Approval
• Assist APA-approved sponsors and applicants through consultations, correspondence, and technical support
• Prepare, review, and finalize reports and communications that reflect feedback from the Continuing Education Committee
• Monitor, analyze, and utilize application, renewal, review report, complaint, and other quality assurance data
• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement
• Plan, execute, and share research evaluations and needs assessments
• Create, implement, evaluate, and continually enhance the Sponsors with Distinction initiative
• Develop innovative resources, products, and services that promote sponsor success and enhance the quality of continuing education
• Assess and manage complaints and compliance-related issues
• Offer technical guidance regarding CESA systems, processes, and requirements
• Represent APA professionally in interactions with sponsors, applicants, members, committees, and external organizations
• Participate in team meetings, strategic planning, governance activities, and cross-functional projects
• Provide administrative and governance support to the CEC, CRSSPP, and associated initiatives
• Update the supervisor on project status and emerging issues
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social science, public administration, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in data analysis and research design
• Proven experience in quality assurance, program evaluation, program implementation, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Background in designing, conducting, and translating research or evaluation activities into actionable recommendations, resources, or products
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Advanced research skills including data gathering, analysis, and output
• Exceptional customer service, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Capacity to work independently, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Professional
• Familiarity with online application and technical systems such as Salesforce
• Proficient in virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS, NVivo, and Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in survey platforms like Alchemer
• Final candidates must successfully pass a background check
