Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Develop test plans, test cases, use cases, and test strategy documents that adhere to both organizational and industry standards.

• Generate well-documented defect reports, detailing reproducible issues and appropriate workarounds.

• Design comprehensive manual test cases based on test specifications and knowledge of the product/environment.

• Ensure that manual test cases effectively validate product functionality while optimizing resource usage.

• Implement test automation when suitable to enhance the thoroughness of testing.

• Conduct end-to-end functional tests and utilize automated tests created by other team members.

• Offer insights on requirements documents and provide feedback informed by product knowledge and customer concerns.

• Develop work plans, objectives, designs, and outcomes, while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze and evaluate alternative approaches, assessing their merits and drawbacks.

• Play a key role in the overall product testing strategy with an emphasis on enhancing customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

• A detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.

• Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, and cross-team communication abilities.

• Background in quality assurance, business analysis, software testing, or technical support.

• Practical experience with relevant technologies.

• Understanding of all stages of the software development life cycle.

• Familiarity with software/hardware testing principles, covering both positive and negative testing.

• Independent and proactive attitude with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong research capabilities.
