Qualified EAP Clinician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Delivers comprehensive EAP services that include intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management, and crisis management.

• Offers counseling services in a prompt, effective, ethical, and professional manner.

• Upholds client confidentiality in alignment with ethical guidelines.

• Adheres to relevant ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards, along with organizational policies and regulations.

• Directs clients to suitable resources while maintaining detailed clinical documentation in the electronic system.

• Conducts assessments for issues such as substance abuse, mental health, and familial concerns that may impact workplace performance.

• Executes initial assessments, crisis interventions, information and referral services, and counseling.

• Follows up with clients as needed.

• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by the clinical management team.

• Provides training and participates in orientation sessions.

• Designs and implements strategic initiatives for the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Counselor or Psychologist with a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 2 years of post-qualification direct experience with clients providing counseling or mental health services.

• Experience in conducting assessments and/or utilizing clinical assessment tools.

• Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling is an advantage.

• Capability to provide counseling services that are ethical, professional, and confidential.

• Adherence to applicable ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards.
