This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Delivers a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service that includes intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management, and crisis intervention.
• Provides counseling services in a timely, efficient, ethical, and professional manner.
• Ensures client confidentiality in accordance with ethical standards.
• Complies with relevant ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards, along with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Refers clients to suitable resources and maintains detailed clinical documentation in the electronic system.
• Conducts assessments related to substance abuse, mental health, and family issues that may impact job performance.
• Engages in initial assessments, crisis intervention, information and referral, and counseling services.
• Makes follow-up calls to clients as needed.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by the clinical management team.
• Facilitates training sessions and actively participates in orientation programs.
• Develops and implements strategic initiatives for the organization.
• Counselor or Psychologist holding a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience with direct client contact in providing counseling or mental health services.
• Experience in conducting assessments and/or utilizing clinical assessment instruments.
• Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
