QA Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on new initiatives, system upgrades, and ongoing support for the organization's systems.

• Develop and oversee the creation of test plans and strategies, considering acceptance criteria, risks, priorities, and necessary resources.

• Define and evaluate test cases and scenarios, including positive, negative, and exception conditions.

• Execute and supervise both manual and/or automated tests, ensuring sufficient coverage based on functionality impact, risks, and criticality.

• Document, log, and track defects in collaboration with the development team until resolution is achieved.

• Create and actively manage test data sets.

• Ensure the proper utilization of test environments and tools.

• Prepare test reports and monitor the documentation of execution evidence.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and early identification of risks and obstacles.

• Proactively detect potential defects throughout the development lifecycle.

• Provide technical support to test analysts, reviewing strategies, scenarios, test cases, and evidence as necessary.

• Act as a technical resource for the QA team, assisting in resolving queries and directing activities.

• Identify risks, obstacles, and quality-related areas needing attention, and produce the appropriate reports.

• Contribute to the standardization and continuous enhancement of QA processes, practices, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in analyzing functionalities and requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in developing test scenarios, test cases, and test steps.

• Familiarity with risk mapping and defining test coverage.

• Experience in gathering and preparing test data sets.

• Proactive in identifying defects throughout the development lifecycle.

• Experience working within Agile teams and environments, participating from the earliest planning stages.

• Ability to report on progress and identify obstacles.

• Knowledge and application of established testing practices and standards.

• Skill in organizing and maintaining test documentation.

• Experience in logging, tracking, and maintaining defect traceability.

• Familiarity with test automation (a plus).

• Experience with automated testing using Artificial Intelligence (a plus).

• Knowledge of or experience using AI for generating, optimizing, or maintaining tests (a plus).

• Experience in insurance and capitalization environments (a plus).
