QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the testing strategy for a real-money platform and its settlement engine.

• Develop coverage to ensure settlement mathematics is accurate and free from leaks, double payments, or discrepancies.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of the closed-loop money movement pathway and confirm comprehensive auditability.

• Lead security testing at the RPC / SECURITY DEFINER level.

• Confirm age verification (21+) and identity checks are performed prior to fund transfers, subject to the availability of Persona credentials.

• Create a traceable library of test cases from the ground up.

• Set up a shared defect tracking system using Linear or Jira.

• Document defects with detailed reproduction steps and re-evaluate after fixes are applied.

• Manage sandbox testing across OpenNode and Resend.

• Direct the CALL-IT pod.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior QA or test engineering roles focused on systems that manage money, transactions, ledgers, or settlements.

• Proficiency in SQL / Postgres, preferably including testing of stored procedures or SECURITY DEFINER functions.

• Experience in testing payment, settlement, ledger, or wallet processes.

• Practical knowledge of Next.js / API-driven web applications and methods for testing an RPC layer.

• Capability to design coverage in areas lacking it and lead a small team.

• Thorough and reproducible defect reporting in clear written English.

• Background in fintech, payments, iGaming, or testing.

• Familiarity with Supabase and Vercel.

• Exposure to KYC / identity verification processes and age verification.

• Understanding of Bitcoin / Lightning settlements, such as those involving OpenNode.
