QA Engineer – Mobile, Test Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage test planning and test management across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

• Create, organize, document, and maintain test cases and test plans utilizing Xray.

• Conduct hands-on manual testing as necessary.

• Develop, sustain, and continually enhance test automation processes.

• Discover opportunities to expand test coverage and elevate overall product quality.

• Investigate and advocate for the integration of AI tools within QA and testing workflows.

• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Engage actively in an Agile development setting.

• Assist in the identification, investigation, tracking, and resolution of defects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience as a QA Engineer or Test Automation Engineer.

• Extensive experience in testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proficient in testing web applications.

• Practical experience in test automation methodologies.

• Familiarity with Xray or similar test management tools.

• Experience utilizing or implementing AI tools in QA/testing processes.

• Proven track record of collaborating closely with software development teams in an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Sentry, and Datadog is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.

• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not mandatory.
