QA Engineer, Compliance – Java, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Engage in the testing of Binance backend microservices to ensure high-quality delivery across service APIs and integration boundaries.

• Comprehend business scenarios and technical designs, which include domain models, database schemas, and service-to-service contracts.

• Create, develop, execute, and review test cases.

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing at both the API and service layers.

• Identify and monitor bugs, ensuring timely resolutions and delivery.

• Validate the accuracy and idempotency of data using SQL queries against MySQL.

• Verify cross-service interactions involving RPC/Feign calls, Kafka messages, and Redis state.

• Construct and maintain automated test suites based on Java, utilizing tools such as TestNG/JUnit and REST Assured.

• Collaborate with backend developers and product managers to address issues.

• Utilize AI tools for generating test cases, log triage, and conducting impact analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to current university students and recent graduates.

• Pursuing or holding an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and QA methodologies.

• Proficient in Java and MySQL; experience with Spring Boot / MyBatis is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with microservice architecture and RESTful API / RPC concepts.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for data consistency and edge cases.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a fast-paced environment.

• Quick learner with a robust work ethic.

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with React or Vue is a significant advantage.
