Software QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and implement test plans, test cases, regression suites, and related documentation.

• Conduct manual functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify, document, reproduce, prioritize, and track software defects until resolution.

• Collaborate directly with developers to troubleshoot issues, clarify expected behavior, and validate fixes.

• Engage in requirements and release discussions, offering QA insights on testability, risks, and readiness.

• Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Recognize repetitive, high-value, and regression-prone scenarios that are appropriate for automation.

• Maintain automated test suites and work with developers to investigate test failures.

• Keep test cases, test results, defect records, release validation documentation, and QA artifacts up to date.

• Enhance QA processes, testing standards, regression coverage, defect-prevention practices, testing workflows, tools, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant equivalent experience may also be considered.

• Hands-on experience in software quality assurance or software testing with solid manual testing foundations.

• Knowledge of software development and QA life cycles, defect management, test cases, and regression testing.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with developers, QA team members, and business stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple testing activities and priorities.

• Experience with Playwright or other test automation frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.

• USB headset featuring a combined microphone and headphones with noise-canceling capabilities.

• Only cable or fiber internet connections are acceptable; DSL, satellite, and wireless connections are not permitted.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload.

• Wired connection to PC or laptop is necessary; Wi-Fi/wireless connections are not allowed.
