Mid-Level Quality Analyst – QA/Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assess functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop test plans, scenarios, test cases, and checklists in alignment with task specifications.

• Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Validate web applications and the functionalities developed.

• Carry out API and system integration testing.

• Validate workflows associated with internal systems and automations.

• Identify bugs, failures, inconsistencies, and unexpected behaviors.

• Accurately record and document defects, including evidence and information necessary for reproduction.

• Monitor identified bugs until resolution.

• Perform retesting following adjustments made by developers.

• Carry out regression tests to ensure that new changes do not impact existing functionalities.

• Validate deliverables prior to their release into production.

• Query and verify database information when required.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, tests conducted, and results achieved.

• Proven experience in testing systems and web applications.

• Experience in designing test scenarios and test cases.

• Proficiency in executing functional tests.

• Familiarity with regression testing.

• Experience in identifying, logging, and tracking bugs.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Ability to interpret requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria effectively.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

• Organized approach to documenting tests and evidential support.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with Product and Development teams.
