This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing scripts, components, and frameworks.
• Establish automation strategies based on risk, criticality, frequency, return on investment, and maintenance effort.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, API, service, end-to-end, performance, load, stress, contract, security, compatibility, and mobile testing as applicable.
• Verify authentication, authorization, access controls, transactions, limits, balances, data consistency, notifications, and integrations.
• Collaborate with product, development, architecture, security, and QA teams to identify and prioritize testing scenarios.
• Evaluate risks associated with quality, availability, integrity, confidentiality, and traceability.
• Estimate the effort required for automation, implementation, execution, and maintenance of test suites.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze results, failures, patterns, trends, instability, and issues within the execution environment.
• Investigate failures to differentiate between application, environment, data, configuration, and test-related issues.
• Log, track, and communicate defects, including evidence and business impact.
• Prepare execution, coverage, results, risk, and defect reports.
• Maintain and enhance the automation environment for reliability, scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
• Ensure secure and appropriate use of test data, avoiding exposure of sensitive information or real data.
• Contribute to quality metrics and the continuous enhancement of QA processes.
• Stay updated with automation tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Mentor manual QA professionals in adopting automation practices.
• Share knowledge through documentation, demonstrations, technical reviews, and team support.
• Adhere to software engineering, automation, security, privacy, and quality standards.
• Utilize internal collaboration and knowledge-sharing tools, including AllAi, in compliance with company policies.
• Demonstrated experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or in a comparable position.
• Practical experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing frameworks and suites.
• Proficiency in programming for test automation using Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalents.
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Proficiency with Jira.
• Understanding of various types and levels of software testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Knowledge of Git and code versioning practices.
• Experience in analyzing test results, reporting, tracking, and validating defects.
• Understanding of component reusability, data separation, actions and validations, test data management, evidence handling, flaky test reduction, and test suite maintenance and scalability.
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated frameworks and scripts.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, integrations, or mobile applications.
• Proficient in analyzing test results, investigating failures, and reporting defects.
• Experience collaborating with development, product, infrastructure, security, and QA teams.
• Intermediate English — B1 level, with the ability to read and comprehend technical documentation and communicate in professional contexts.
• Preferred: experience in banking, financial services, payments, or regulated environments.
• Preferred: knowledge of testing multifactor authentication, authorization, financial transactions, idempotency, reconciliation, data integrity, auditing, service availability, and service recovery.
• Preferred: understanding of security testing and common vulnerabilities.
• Preferred: experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Preferred: knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Preferred: experience with JMeter, Gatling, k6, or equivalent tools.
• Preferred: understanding of cloud computing, microservices, messaging, distributed architectures, LGPD, and observability.
