QA Automation Engineer, Mid-Level/Senior – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a team dedicated to supporting a prominent client in the financial services industry.

• Collaborate on business rules and test automation initiatives.

• Contribute to the design of software quality solutions.

• Develop and execute automated test cases.

• Integrate and validate messages within distributed systems.

• Automate and validate RESTful APIs.

• Conduct automation for end-to-end, user interface, and integration tests.

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java, including the ability to write and execute automated tests.

• Familiarity with Kafka for the integration and validation of messages in distributed systems.

• Proficiency in API test automation tools, particularly Rest Assured, for validating RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Cypress or Selenium for automating end-to-end tests, focusing on user interface (UI) and integration testing.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.

• Practical experience with GitLab for code version control and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to configure and oversee pipelines, integrate test automation, and apply CI/CD best practices.

• Understanding of REST and SOAP service concepts, along with experience in consuming and validating services.

• Comprehension of software project architecture concerning test automation, design best practices, and the development of scalable, efficient tests.
