QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, construction, and upkeep of automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications under the mentorship of senior QA engineers.

• Create and implement functional and regression test cases, both automated and manual.

• Aid in the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and assist in analyzing outcomes to identify defects.

• Work alongside development and product teams to comprehend acceptance criteria and participate in discussions regarding product quality.

• Perform manual and API testing as necessary.

• Keep comprehensive and clear test documentation.

• Learn from senior team members and progressively assume greater responsibility for test scenarios and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA, with some familiarity with test automation.

• Proficient knowledge of at least one programming language commonly utilized in test automation: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Ruby.

• Experience with at least one automation tool, such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Jest.

• Solid experience in API testing, such as using Postman.

• Basic understanding of Git and familiarity with CI/CD concepts, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience with AI tools and willingness to integrate AI-assisted methodologies into QA processes.

• Understanding of agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented and organized.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient English language skills.

• Willingness to learn from senior QA engineers and advance to more complex testing responsibilities.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms or non-functional testing concepts is advantageous.

• Experience with mobile device test automation frameworks, such as Appium or Maestro, is an asset.

• Applicants must be located in Croatia; candidates from other countries will not be considered.
