QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and carry out testing for client-facing applications, internal tools, and backend APIs to pinpoint deficiencies and guarantee that quality standards are upheld.

• Implement and advocate for formal testing methodologies to enhance process-oriented, high-quality deliverables.

• Assess product quality and recommend enhancements to ensure elevated levels of customer satisfaction.

• Record and monitor defects using the specified tracking systems and tools.

• Recognize quality assurance process obstacles and propose solutions for improvement.

• Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management, and QA team members to formulate test approaches and strategies for particular products and product lines.

• Identify and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in testing web and/or mobile applications.

• Proven ability to develop and implement software test strategies and test cases.

• Experience in various testing types including Functional, Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End System Integration Testing.

• Familiarity with mobile testing tools such as Appium and BrowserStack is highly desirable.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps development methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, HTML/CSS, and general web technologies.

• Capability to document and generate clear, concise, and thorough bug reports, test plans, and test cases.

• Understanding of API Testing and API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Apigee is a plus.

• Knowledge of building automation scripts and the Playwright framework is advantageous.

• Familiarity with database architecture and concepts is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
