This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan, +5 more countries.
β’ Create, implement, and uphold detailed test plans and test cases.
β’ Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
β’ Design and sustain automated test scripts where applicable.
β’ Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor software defects.
β’ Collaborate closely with software engineers to replicate and resolve bugs.
β’ Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning activities.
β’ Validate new features, improvements, and bug fixes prior to deployment.
β’ Execute API testing and confirm backend functionality.
β’ Test web, mobile, and cloud applications across various browsers and devices.
β’ Work alongside product and engineering teams to enhance overall software quality.
β’ Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.
β’ Monitor application performance and usability throughout testing phases.
β’ Assist with production releases and conduct post-release validation.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
β’ Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
β’ Experience in both manual and automated testing for web, mobile, or SaaS applications.
β’ Proficiency in QA and testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, Swagger, JMeter, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, BrowserStack, and other industry-standard platforms.
β’ Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, or SQL.
β’ Experience in testing APIs, databases, cross-browser functionality, performance, and cloud-based applications with modern QA tools and frameworks.
β’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
β’ Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
β’ Nice to have: experience in testing SaaS or mobile applications (iOS/Android), accessibility (WCAG), security or penetration testing, AI-assisted testing tools, distributed remote teams, and holding an ISTQB certification.
