QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute test cases and test plans for new features and software releases

• Conduct exploratory, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing

• Assess APIs and user interfaces, focusing on edge cases and negative scenarios

• Identify, document, and monitor defects with detailed reproduction steps, and validate the resolutions

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to clarify requirements and proactively address quality risks

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably with web or API-centric products

• Proficient in writing clear test cases and detailed bug reports

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Linear or Jira

• Comfortable utilizing browser developer tools for issue investigation

• Must be available during Boston business hours

• Strong written communication skills in English

• Attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset regarding the causes of failures
