This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Analyze, design, implement, and uphold software test suites throughout the Software Testing Lifecycle.
• Cultivate a thorough technical comprehension of client requirements and project specifications.
• Review and provide insights on Software Requirements Specifications in collaboration with Solution Analysts.
• Aid in the creation of Software Test Plans that outline testing scope, objectives, and methodologies.
• Work together with technical stakeholders to produce detailed work package estimates.
• Develop and execute automated tests at the integration, system, and acceptance levels.
• Generate and evaluate reports on software testing defects, progress, and summaries.
• Investigate and prioritize software defects for designated projects.
• Construct and sustain extensive automated test frameworks.
• Partner with the Quality Assurance Team Lead to define and implement optimal testing practices.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Over 3 years of experience in developing automated tests using Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, REST Assured, Java, or JUnit.
• More than 3 years of experience in integrating automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Proficient in writing basic SQL queries for data retrieval using joins.
• Familiarity with web servers such as Apache HTTP Server or NGINX.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce.
• Knowledge of API testing for RESTful and SOAP-based web services using Postman, SoapUI, or other testing frameworks.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, or Gradle.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• In-depth understanding of all phases within the Software Testing Lifecycle.
• Experience in designing and executing test suites across unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing levels.
• Proficiency in software development languages, primarily Java.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript for Playwright.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database design.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM-based tools and models for test planning, test generation, and QA efficiency.
