QA Analyst, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality and integrity of data warehouse systems, reports, and web applications.

• Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Take ownership of and maintain master test plans.

• Coordinate testing priorities and efforts in alignment with cross-functional teams.

• Supervise functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across data pipelines, reporting systems, and web applications.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects, bugs, and data inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

• Provide updates on testing status, issues, and results to IT Project Managers and IT Leadership.

• Review requirements and technical specifications to create test plans and test cases for .NET web applications.

• Conduct testing across various platforms.

• Evaluate front-end functionality for usability, performance, and security.

• Test and verify back-end functionality, data inputs/outputs, and UI components.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of BI dashboard and Power BI report data.

• Validate report calculations, KPIs, and filters against source data specifications.

• Test data refresh cycles, report rendering, and scheduled report delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and oral, with a minimum level of B2+ (approximately 90% proficiency).

• Over 5 years of QA experience, preferably in web, reporting, and data environments.

• Strong SQL skills for effective data validation and analysis.

• Practical experience in testing ETL processes and data pipelines.

• Familiarity with Postman or similar testing tools.

• Experience in validating reports using BI tools like Power BI.

• Background in Agile/Kanban methodologies.
