QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement functional tests based on business analysis and requirements, having the freedom to create your own test cases.

• Create and sustain integration and end-to-end test automation according to the standards set by the team.

• Identify, report, and prioritize defects in collaboration with the development team, with the discretion to assess severity.

• Facilitate meetings with the development team to ensure clarity on functionality and articulate any identified issues.

• Recognize specific enhancements to your workflow and suggest them to a senior team member or specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed higher education, currently pursuing a degree, or equivalent demonstrable experience in the relevant field.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript applied to test automation.

• Experience with Playwright for web integration and end-to-end automation, consistent with team standards.

• Familiarity with Maestro for mobile automation in React Native.

• Knowledge of Postman/Newman or Bruno for API test suites, including test data and environments.

• Proficient in Git and GitLab CI: able to write and comprehend .gitlab-ci.yml and execute the test suite as a stage in the merge request pipeline.

• Ability to test a feature in both states of feature flags (enabled and disabled).

• Adequate understanding of AWS to navigate the staging and production environments where tests are conducted.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), utilizing Kanbanize (Businessmap) as the tracking tool.

• Availability to work as an independent contractor (PJ).
