Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend and frontend services using Python.

• Design and create REST APIs for payment processing and third-party integrations.

• Integrate external payment service providers (PSPs), covering pay-in, pay-out, and payment status callbacks.

• Ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient handling of payment transactions and sensitive information.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex in everyday workflows.

• Deploy and manage services within Kubernetes environments.

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system reliability.

• Write clean, maintainable code along with automated tests.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and release processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external payment providers to address integration and technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development.

• Practical daily experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar solutions.

• Strong proficiency with FastAPI and/or Django.

• Comprehensive understanding of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio, async/await, event loop).

• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis.

• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or equivalent technologies.

• Experience with Docker and a solid understanding of Kubernetes deployment and operations.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, preferably with GitLab pipelines.

• Ability to write clean, scalable, testable, and maintainable code.

• English proficiency at B1+ level for reading technical documentation and written communication.
