Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve applications utilizing Python for backend development.

• Develop and utilize REST APIs to ensure seamless integration between internal systems and external services.

• Engage in architectural decisions, solution design, and the implementation of development best practices.

• Craft and optimize queries for both relational and non-relational databases.

• Perform testing and code reviews, while addressing bugs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, UX/UI, and Infrastructure.

• Assist in the technical and functional documentation of created applications.

• Contribute to the enhancement of development processes, solution quality, and security measures.

• Operate within an agile framework, actively participating in ceremonies and continuous delivery initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience with Python programming.

• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

• Understanding of REST API development and integration, along with JSON data handling.

• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Proficient in Git and code version control methodologies.

• Experience utilizing Docker or other containerization technologies.

• Background in agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, code quality standards, and development best practices.

• Familiarity with frontend development using technologies such as React, Angular, and/or Vue.js.

• Experience with TypeScript programming.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.

• Experience in cloud computing environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with automated testing techniques.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.

• Understanding of user experience best practices and responsive interface design.
