This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in well-defined software engineering projects that involve real-world codebases and development challenges.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within complex, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Produce clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential points of failure.

• Ensure alignment between requirements, code, tests, and expected outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality production code, technical solutions, documentation, testing, and code-review feedback.

• Choose projects based on availability and expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience with backend or full-stack development on production systems.

• Proficiency with testing frameworks like pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Capability to confidently navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Advanced written proficiency in English.

• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Delivery of production-quality code and technical solutions.

• Complete and precise project deliverables.

• Clear and concise technical documentation.
