Purchase Ledger Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Accurately input supplier invoices into the ledger.

• Align invoices with orders and delivery notes.

• Address invoice inquiries from suppliers.

• Create payment proposals for approval.

• Reconcile supplier statements with the ledger.

• Manage the purchase ledger from supplier invoices to approved payments.

• Follow established processes and collaborate effectively with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, demonstrating precise processing.

• Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Access to a reliable laptop, stable fibre internet, and a quiet workspace.

• Availability during 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).

• Experience with three-way matching is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Dext or Hubdoc is a plus.

• Knowledge of UK VAT coding is beneficial.
