
Public-Sector Compensation Lead β Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the project manager and technical lead for public-sector classification and compensation studies from initiation through execution.
β’ Oversee job analysis, classification frameworks, and job evaluation utilizing point factor, market pricing, or similar methodologies.
β’ Create peer groups and market surveys; assess internal equity, compression, and salary competitiveness.
β’ Formulate salary structures, grade classifications, and phased implementation cost alternatives.
β’ Deliver findings and recommendations to managers, Boards, Councils, and employee groups.
β’ Provide project-manager qualifications, methodologies, and past-performance content for AlphaGov proposals.
β’ Experience in leading or managing multiple public-sector classification and compensation studies for cities, counties, school districts, or state agencies.
β’ At least one of these studies must have been completed within the past 2 years.
β’ Ability to identify those public clients and permit AlphaGov to reference them in proposals.
β’ Possession of CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or equivalent expertise in compensation.
β’ Proficient analytical, report-writing, and client presentation capabilities.
β’ Preferred: SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
β’ Preferred: Experience with K-12 administrator compensation studies.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with job evaluation methods such as point factor and market pricing.
β’ Preferred: Experience in delivering presentations to Boards, Councils, or elected officials.
