This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement public relations and communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, align with business goals, and promote Alliant Insurance Services along with its specialized practices.
• Create and distribute press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, and various public relations materials.
• Generate written content for marketing landing pages, sales sheets, newsletters, online articles, internal communications, social media, and additional channels.
• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, industry influencers, and other media representatives.
• Create, manage, and update targeted media lists.
• Address media inquiries, coordinate participation of subject matter experts, and facilitate media interviews.
• Prepare executives and subject matter experts for media interviews by providing briefing documents, key messages, and talking points.
• Monitor news coverage, public sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Track media coverage, engagement, and campaign performance, preparing KPI reports for leadership review.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, leadership, sales, and specialty practice teams on integrated campaigns.
• Coordinate messaging across press materials, websites, email nurture campaigns, social media, and other marketing platforms.
• Assist in corporate communications, events, campaigns, announcements, and reputation management initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables effectively.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications, ideally within a B2B context.
• Proven experience in developing media relationships and securing editorial coverage in business, trade, or industry publications.
• Familiarity with project management systems, media monitoring platforms, and analytics tools.
• Ability to interpret media and campaign performance metrics and present insights to leadership.
• Experience supporting financial services, insurance, professional services, or other intricate B2B sectors.
• Proficient in developing executive communications (both internal and external) and preparing subject matter experts for media engagements.
• Background in content marketing, thought leadership, and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management expertise, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Clarity in both verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Solid understanding of communication strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
