Public Relations & Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Inspire and guide the team responsible for communication initiatives that support Payward’s product strategy and Kraken’s offerings for professional traders, derivatives users, and institutions worldwide.

• Develop and implement cohesive external communication strategies that align with Kraken’s business objectives.

• Enhance Kraken’s thought leadership positioning within the professional and institutional client segments.

• Execute storytelling initiatives focused on trading products, risk management, and market infrastructure.

• Cultivate a roster of spokespeople in professional trading and derivatives.

• Construct strategic messaging at the executive, product, and segment levels.

• Prepare company announcements, talking points, media statements, speaker submissions, pitches, and briefing documents.

• Foster relationships with institutional partners, trading desks, market data providers, communications teams, and external agencies.

• Utilize a social-media-first approach in media relations and content creation.

• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Over 7 years of demonstrated experience in leading and implementing communication programs and initiatives.

• Experience in the crypto industry is preferred.

• Highly proactive, driven, and results-oriented.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication strategy abilities.

• Proficiency in translating complex subjects and conveying the perspectives of senior leaders.

• Experience managing communications challenges within a geographically dispersed workforce.

• Proven track record of collaborating with executives to enhance their presence, deliver impactful messaging, and improve presentation/interview skills.

• History of successfully delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, and scaling communication teams.

• Knowledgeable and passionate about the cryptocurrency industry.
